According to the Medical Science Monitor (An International Medical Journal for Experimental and Clinical Research) there was no correlation between crash severity and injury risk, severity or long term symptomology. Multiple databases were searched for the three variables posted above in motor vehicle crashes under 25 mph. Although, many auto insurers segment minimal compensation for injury claims resulting from collisions producing $1,000 or less, there is no statistically significant correlation between property damage and injury risk.
